AI Opportunity Audit

Find the opportunity before choosing the technology.

A structured review of how work happens today, where value is being lost and which AI, automation or software improvements deserve attention first.

The purpose

Leave with a decision, not a shopping list.

The audit gives owners a clear view of the opportunities, constraints and sensible order of action. It can identify a quick configuration change, a workflow worth prototyping, a larger implementation, or a process that should remain human.

No system is recommended simply because it uses AI.

Every audit is scoped and fixed-priced after a free fit call, before any paid work begins. There is no obligation to use VSL Media for the implementation. The report belongs to you either way.

Three ways to begin

Choose the level of help the decision needs.

The self-serve demonstration gives practical starting points for the priorities you choose. Consultant-led audits are scoped after a free fit call, then quoted as a fixed fee before work starts. Prices are not forced into a generic website package.

What we examine

01

Customer journey

Where enquiries arrive, what customers wait for and where opportunities disappear.

02

Repeated administration

Tasks copied, retyped, reformatted or chased by the same people every week.

03

Information & knowledge

Answers trapped in inboxes, documents, individual memories or disconnected software.

04

Handoffs & decisions

Work delayed because ownership, approval or the next action is unclear.

05

Existing software

Tools already being paid for, how they are used and where sensible connections are missing.

06

Risk & control

Sensitive decisions, personal data, error costs and the points where a person must remain responsible.

What you receive

A practical opportunity roadmap

  1. 01Current-state mapHow the selected process works now, including systems and handoffs.
  2. 02Opportunity registerEach improvement described in plain English with its likely business value.
  3. 03Priority assessmentValue, effort, risk, data readiness and human-control requirements.
  4. 04Recommended first projectA defined starting scope and the measures needed to judge it honestly.

How it runs

Four steps. No jargon in between.

  1. 01Fit call

A free 20-minute call. We work out whether there is a genuine opportunity worth a paid audit. If there isn't, we say so.

  2. 02Discovery

The workflows, interviews, systems and evidence that matter, scoped and quoted before anything paid begins.

  3. 03Analysis

Findings are tested against value, effort, risk and how much control needs to stay with a person.

  4. 04Report & playback

The roadmap is talked through in plain English on a call, not handed over as a document to decode alone.

Who it is for

01

Local, owner-run businesses

Common questions

Before you book the call.

  1. 01

Do I need to understand AI before booking?

No. You do not need to know whether AI is the right answer. That is exactly what the audit is designed to establish.

  2. 02

Will I be sold AI I do not need?

No system is recommended simply because it uses AI. Some of the strongest recommendations are a smaller configuration change, better use of software you already pay for, or leaving a process exactly as it is.

  3. 03

What if the audit finds nothing worth changing?

That is a valid outcome. Knowing for certain is worth more than guessing, and it stops time being spent chasing the wrong opportunity.

  4. 04

How much does it cost, and how long does it take?

Scope and pricing depend on the opportunity. The starting conversation, a free fit call, establishes what is involved and a fixed fee is agreed before anything paid begins.

  5. 05

Is this only for larger businesses?

No. The audit is built for local, owner-run businesses first: places where a handful of repeated problems are costing real time every week.

  6. 06

    What happens after the audit?

You choose. Some owners take the roadmap and implement it themselves. Others move straight into an Implementation Project, or a Managed AI Operations engagement to keep it improving.

Bring us one process that feels harder than it should.

You do not need to know whether AI is the answer. That is what the audit is designed to establish. The fit call is free, and there is no obligation to go further.
